Thank you for your report, Al. All parking meters are supposed to be able to accept both coin and card. This is an ongoing issue that we have identified with our parking meters and we are working with the company to resolve the issue.
In the meantime, anytime we receive a report of a parking meter that is not correctly functioning we will dispatch a parking enforcement employee to repair the meter. In the future, please call Parking Enforcement at 812.349.3436 and they will send someone out to repair the meter.
