Sewer Problems (Sanitary Sewers):

Web Form: Sewage is backing up in our basement after today's rain at 901 W Briarcliff Dr, Bloomington IN 47404. We have rotorooter coming out, but in the past roots in the city line in front of the house caused backups. Please check this line as soon as possible to see if it needs roots cut. We've experienced a catastrophic backup due to problems in the city's line before and wish to avoid a recurrence. Thank you very much for your help in this matter.

City ran our line and it was flowing, but does have some roots. City will take care of the roots when the new root cutting machine comes in. However the service line is completely blocked with roots and that is the customers responsibility. I did call the customer and notify her of this.
