Web Form: The crosswalk signal on High at Wimbleton mystfies me. I would think it's supposed to work by having the lights off until someone pushes the button, and then it is supposed to flash for long enough for the person to cross the street after cars have stopped. Maybe I am wrong about this. I can't see any evidence that pushing the button has any effect at all, and I often see the lights flashing at random times when nobody has been around to push the button.
