The Animal Control Officers are monitoring several deer within the City that have broken legs. As long as they appear healthy and moving, we do not interfere. Unfortunately there are not good rehab options for this type of injury and we find that the deer can often live comfortably for years with these injuries. If they appear to be suffering or unable to cope, we do humanely euthanize.
