Web Form: I had reported this before and was rudely dismissed. I understand game day traffic, but it has never been like it was Saturday night. I was stuck in traffic for 45 minutes and had to walk on foot for 15 just to get to my apartment. Every street that ran north/south was blocked off by extremely rude officers. None of which had any type of flashlight or beam to direct drivers. I was put at risk by being forced to walk home alone at night and that is unacceptable. That could have very easily turned into something bad, just because local traffic could not turn onto south walnut. This is unacceptable. There is no reason it should take me 45 minutes just to get 15 minutes away from my apartment. there have been other game days where there has been no issue getting from the tailgating fields to my apartment on 20th street.
