Web Form: About 2-3 times a week the street lights are out from South Highland Ave and Atwater to South Mitchell Street and Atwater, and South Mitchell and Atwater to 3rd Street. I don't know why this happens, but it's dangerous to cross Atwater when the lights are out. Also, pedestrians may be more susceptible to attacks or robberies late at night. I am not sure if these lights are maintained by the city or not. I assume they are.
