Sent email and adjusted time of temp lighting shut down to 9:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
Other: Across from the B-Line Heights Apartments the city has constructed a new parking lot. There is a generator powering lights for said parking lot. This generator has made it hard for the residents of the B-Line Heights Apartments to sleep at night. I myself am in a corner unit directly across from the generator and have hardly gotten any sleep in the last two weeks. I am disabled and stay at home the majority of my time so during the day I am not given much relief either except for the few mere moments when the generator is turned off. I hate to be a bother and I understand that there is probably not anything that can be done about this, but in the off chance that it could be addressed I would forever be grateful. Maybe it could possibly be moved to a different corner of the parking lot?

Good Morning Ms. Stewart, Thank you for your email and using our reporting service to express your concern. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. You are correct the new temporary lighting has been placed in this temporary parking lot for safety reasons. This lot is being used to relocate parkers to build the new Trades District Parking Garage in the fenced off area behind the Showers building. Construction will begin in next few weeks. This project will be completed in late 2020 or early 2021. I have requested the lighting unit to be shut down around 9:00 pm instead of 11:00 pm. Hopefully, the 2 hour adjustment will make a big difference. As we continue to go into the spring and summer months we will continue to adjust as we will gain more day light hours. In the future if you have any further concerns, you can email me directly at michelle.wahl@bloomington.in.gov. or contact me at (812) 349-3517. Thank you again, Michelle L.
