closed: Resolved #171728

Blocked Street:

Other: This semi truck that makes deliveries to the gas station at Grimes and Walnut parks in the westbound lane of Grimes. I have seen this happen numerous times. Why is the gas station allowed to externalize the cost of a delivery onto the rest of society? The road is two lanes. The truck is close to both a stop light and a stop sign that makes the traffic issues more severe. A tanker truck delivering fuel is able to park in the gas station parking lot. Why should this semi truck be an different? The cost of the delivery should not be my problem. Instead of an inconvenience to users of the gas station during the delivery, it becomes a serious traffic hazzard for everyone else. This should not be allowed.
