Shelly, I'm sorry you are dealing with this issue. It has been a growing problem throughout the community. Unfortunately, City government does not have the resources to remove these items from private property. However, the Monroe County Health Department is the agency that can assist through their Safe Sharps Disposal program. Hi Joe, Could the Street Dept send someone down to check out the area surrounding the Early Learning Center and remove any needles you find in the public right of way. I'll need to work with others here to see what can be done about the ongoing issue, especially in cases where needles are found on private property. Alex
