Other: Increase in taxes: No more new taxes! The mayor's proposed increase in the optional income tax is nothing but a money grab. Evidence is now coming out as departments are hustling to come up with ideas about how to spend the money, such as housing and transportation in addition to the climate stuff. Bloomington is not and will not change the climate. How about sound good projects and then figure out how to sell them and fund them with the public. How about looking at efficient ways of doing city business? No new taxes!!
