Notified Health Department, who communicated with the business. Notified OOTM for inclusion in future public communications.
Other: Around 9pm tonight (Sunday 3/29/2020) the Chocolate Moose on Walnut had a crowd of probably 15-20+ people inside. A big group was congregated inside together to get ice cream. There were also people congregating outside of the business and on the sidewalk. How is this okay? The Governor's order for the state of Indiana says we cannot go out for non-essential trips. The federal government says we cannot be in groups over 10 people. The crowd at Chocolate Moose was violating all of these rules. Can the City take action or should the state or county health departments or a police agency be notified?

Sent notification to Nicole Wagner at MoCo Health Dept. She may want to contact directly. Will also notify MCC to see if this needs to be incorporated into comms strategy.
Hello, Thanks for notifying us of this issue. We will follow up directly with the business and the health department. We will not follow back up with you. Thank you again, Jane Kupersmith
Hi Jane, Can you give the Chocolate Moose folks a call and find out what they're doing re social distancing protocols? This kind of visible resistance to the rules not only puts people at risk there but also creates anxiety for the public. We might also want to discuss with OOTM to see what kinds of actions we should be prepared to take. Alex
