City of Bloomington, Indiana

closed: Resolved #172767

Traffic Related Complaints:

Other: Constituents in Fritz Terrace and the neighborhood north of Kroger have expressed concern that traffic is moving too fast (and seems to be getting worse) along Kinzer and Skyline Drive. Not sure if there's anything that can be done from the City's perspective, but I wanted to pass this along. Thank you!

This seems like an ideal project for the Livable Streets Program (assuming it is put into effect). If (provided, we are successful in implementing a Resident-Led Traffic Calming Process) the dates for submitting project applications will be January 2021. If there are neighbors or organized residents in these areas- do feel free to put them in contact with me (rickbeilm@bloomington.in.gov) and I will notify them of how the proposed policy progresses through committees/ council and notify them of when we will be accepting project proposals.
