Other: You did a great job fixing the crosswalks; thank you! We use those sidewalks frequently. However, pedestrians wishing to use the crosswalk to traverse Henderson on the south side of Winslow now face road flooding for hours/days after significant rain. The east side of the crosswalk and northbound road flood. Not only is this a problem for pedestrians, but it may present an ice hazard for vehicles in the winter months after a thaw-freeze. The crosswalk project plans available for viewing online do not seem to show a drain to collect and remove rainwater. Thank you for helping us all by addressing this!

Thanks Greg for making us aware of this issue. The challenge that has faced us at this location when we've looked at ways to collect the stormwater along the east side of Henderson south of Winslow is an existing 36 inch watermain that is too close to where we would need to put the stormwater infrastructure. Sewer and water are supposed to be separated by at least 10 feet. I will look at this again and see if there are any other options.
