Sidewalk Snow Removal:

Other: The sidewalks on both sides of Hillside in front of Woodlawn Crossing Apts (owned by Abodes) and Carlisle Brake Friction have no attempt at clearing snow. Most of the residence on Hillside have cleared their sidewalks, but these places have not meaning you either need knee-high boots to stay on the sidewalk or walk out in the busy street.

In accordance with Bloomington Municipal Code 6.07.010 (a), a property owner gets 24 hours after the snow or ice has ceased to fall or in any way accumulate to remove it before we can issue a violation. In the event of a violation, the neighborhood compliance officer will issue a Notice of Violation (NOV) to the property owners via first class mail and by placing a copy of the notice of violation on the property.
