City of Bloomington, Indiana

closed: Resolved #175922

Recycling:

Other: My recycling hasn’t been picked up in the last two weeks and I am trying to understand why. Is it because of the styrofoam? The styrofoam in my recycling bin is stamped recyclable #6, which according to the lid of my recycling container is accepted.

Bryce - With the ever changing recycling commodities market, styrofoam was removed from the acceptable list of items some time ago. We had been putting new stickers on the recycling carts pointing residents to the City's website for the most current list of acceptable items.
