What the contractor has in place is what the Board of Public Works approved. There is a MOU with Parks and Rec for the sidewalk on Parks property in the median. There were discussions with the contractor starting a few years ago about the best way to do the sidewalk closure. We knew there would be constant construction traffic in and out of the property crossing a walkaround.
