Other: Go Express busses are driving recklessly through the Sportsplex parking lot. I was dropping my daughter off for her program yesterday at 6:00pm. A bus nearly ran over the front of my car as it was turning to go toward the side parking lot. I was stopped with my window down and told the driver that she should slow down. She stated that I was in her blind spot. Then she continued to drive forward and I had to quickly back up to give her room to turn while trying to avoid hitting the car behind me. After walking my daughter into the building, another bus went by and was also driving too fast for being in a parking lot. Why are these buses cutting through the lot? They can enter at the stoplight closer to Weimer Road if needed and avoid putting parks and rec patrons in danger.
This concern was forwarded to the contact at Catalent.
I have forwarded this incident to our contact at Catalent. We have an agreement with them for them to be able to use these lots for parking on a short term basis. They have to use the traffic light to exit in the direction of Catalent. I will make sure Catalent is notified of the expressed caution that needs to be taken.
