Hi Teresa, Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I did some research last year on our B-Line Crossing and how to review/ respond to each intersection for comfort and safety. Based on my understanding of the traffic volumes, speeds, and frequency of use from pedestrians, bicyclists, and users on the path- it seems that a beacon may not be the best fit for this location. Patrick Dierkes is the Project Engineer who is heading up Phase 1 of the Hospital Re-Use Site and this intersection is part of that project area. I would reach out to Patrick (patrick.dierkes@bloomington.in.gov) with your observations and he will be able to use that information as he plans the best treatment for the intersection as it continues to change in the coming years.
