City of Bloomington, Indiana

closed: Resolved #175972

City Performance:

Other: If the City can host an event for Juneteenth, which is fantastic, it can host an event for Pride. Trans lives in particular are under attack right now. Let's celebrate the unique queer life Bloomington possesses. Thank you for considering. We can do more. Maybe even just an award for either LGBT activism and/or community contribution from a LGBT resident that can be part of a volunteer awards night or something that I believe Lucy Scaich hosts? Starting small is fine. But Bloomington Pride is not representative of everyone so it would be great for local government to be a player too.
