Other: The large maple tree at the front of Fire Station #3 was struck by lightning about a year ago, the tree is showing signs of degeneration, and there are Large limbs that hang down over the apron of the fire station that protrude into the driving path of our emergency apparatus. I have asked for the tree to be removed, however the tree has some large deadfall limbs hanging over the sidewalk (Fall Hazard to pedestrians) and about 6-7 limbs that need to be removed to render it safe. This is a huge safety issue and needs to be addressed. The limb that hangs over the apron needs to be removed to allow apparatus to safely enter and exit the bay of Fire Station #3.
Bluestone completed pruning and fertilization.
Examined tree, and will be contracting it out for pruning using existing pruning contracts. Will not remove at this time.
