City of Bloomington, Indiana

closed: Resolved #176737

Street Trees:

Other: A tree of about 8 inches DBH and located about a foot from the curb on S. Highland Ave. has a lot of poison ivy on it. The poison ivy extends about 2 feet over the street, so is a danger to pedestrians and cyclists (there is no sidewalk on either side of this block of Highland). Furthermore, the ivy has several large clusters of green, immature seeds (see both photos). It is therefore imperative that all of this ivy be removed or killed soon, before the seeds mature and are spread by birds. The tree and poison ivy are located across the street (Highland) from a bright blue house (this is at the corner at E. Wylie and Highland). Thanks for taking care of this. Jeff Palmer
