City of Bloomington, Indiana

closed: Resolved #177076

Line of Sight:

Other: Please assess this intersection (Fairview and 13th) at the top of a slight hill with a stop sign. The massive honeysuckle bush on the east side of Fairview obstructs view of stop sign until you are right up to the stop sign. Additionally, when you are stopped at 13th st and looking east there are oftentimes vehicles parked in front of the residence and the view to the east is blocked. I don't know how the yellow painted curbs to prohibit parking near stop signs are determined but this intersection may need something to prevent vehicles from parking right up to the stop sign. Thank you.
