The City does not have plans to install 'cross traffic does not stop' signage on Allen St. These signs are warning signs, whereas the stop signs are regulatory and apply to all road users including cyclists. Increased use of (and lack of consistency with) the cross traffic does not stop signage can also create confusion regarding who is expected to stop at all one- or two-way stop controlled intersections.
