Wildlife Conflict:

Other: There is a large pile of cut wood (sorry the image is upside-down) directly to the south of my property. I think there are a large number of chipmunks that are nesting in the pile and subsequently digging up my lawn and flower beds. Is there a way to get rid of the pile and stumps so that the chipmunks are not located so close to my plants and yard? Could I just list it as free firewood on Facebook Marketplace? I would appreciate any guidance that can be offered.

You are on the right track. Removing the pile of wood would decrease the attractiveness of the area for many of the chipmunks. Prior to removing the wood pile, I would recommend checking your yard for alternative den sites for the chipmunks (other piles of wood, brush, trim back plantings that provide cover, etc.) and remove food sources such as bird feeders.
