Potholes, Other Street Repair:

Other: South bound lane,West side of street, going uphill, there is a prominent outward portion of the curbing. It is painted yellow, but now black from repeated contact by vehicle tires. It needs to be rounded off, and move toward the sidewalk. When I struck this prominent angled curb, it resulted in a blowout of my right front tire. The Bland wrecker truck driver said “ Oh, I get lots of business from that curb” so my experience is not unique. Please fix for the nest drivers, and contact me if there are any questions. Thank you!

Thank you for taking the time to submit this uReport regarding the curb on S Sare Rd. We have investigated this situation and we agree that visibility enhancements would be beneficial to reduce the potential for a vehicle to strike the curb at this location (likely a high-visibility sign installed where the curb reaches its narrowest point). After that change we can continue to monitor the location.

I assume this is the island on McCartney Ln given its the right tire for a southbound vehicle?
