Thank you for your street light request. The City of Bloomington leases lights through Duke Energy and pays for the installation, energy usage and maintenance costs with Duke providing the maintenances services. Each year the Department of Public Works installs lights, primarily at intersections, at locations requested by residents. I have placed your request area on our Street Light Residential Request worksheet for future consideration. Funding allocation for 2021 has been spent so I will take a look at this location in 2022.
