Other: I have walked the trail at Latimer Woods at least once a day for the last 4 years. Thanks for providing us with a dirt trail through the woods. Last fall, I believe employees of Parks and Rec. raked the leaves off the trail after they all fell in November. While this may have seemed like a good idea, the trail became treacherous after a rain, freeze/thaw, or snow. Please leave the leaves on the trail. They provide traction, and help prevent erosion. Hello and thank you for this report. I checked with Parks trail staff and they did not rake the Latimer trail last fall. I'm not sure who might have done it.
