Traffic Suggestions:

Other: Traffic pattern change at 3rd and Mitchell near campus makes turning west onto 3rd street very dangerous. To pull up far enough to see westbound traffic you are looking out the back windows of the car and can't actively be watching for pedestrians walking east. Also, when cars turn east onto 3rd from Mitchell it completely blocks the view of oncoming traffic for those wanting to turn west onto 3rd.

While the design of the intersection of 3rd and Mitchell may not be ideal, the number of reported crashes in the area have decreased since the changes were implemented this fall. The City intends to continue to monitor the area closely for at least a full year to make sure the improved crash pattern continues.
