These symptoms are most often caused by water hardness issues. Bloomington's water is considered soft by national standards, at 43 mg/l or 2.5 grains/gallon. However each person has their own hardness thresholds and water at this hardness level may be too much for your hair over time. There are possible remedies for this available, such as whole home water softeners, showerhead filters, and using all-natural shampoos and conditioners.
