Other: The incident occured at approximately 10:20am on 2/15/22. We were performing work at the One City Centre for Connor Reporting (120 W 7th St), when we parked our 2009 Ford Edge in the Taco Bell parking lot. We parked in the lot between 9:50-10:00am. I have 2 main issues with the non-consenual tow I received from TowTime Towing and Breakdown Solutions. #1 I was charged $168 for the tow, when it clearly states in your city ordinance for a max of $135 for the tow [4.32.130]. The car was picked up from the tow facility at 11:03a. #2 I did not receive a copy of any written authorizations from Taco Bell regarding the authorized tow of my vehicle [4.32.100 subsection a]. Please direct me in the correct way to file an appeal against this predatory tow. I am looking to receive full reimbursement for the improper tow. I am also interested in verifying the licensure of TowTime in regards to [4.32.040].
