Debris Removal:

Other: This construction spoil pile has been there since 2017, when the new Tudor-style house was built on the 2nd Street side of the Jacobs property. Been there and grown. It's an eyesore and maybe an attractive nuisance. Spoil piles are supposed to be removed / cleaned up at project's end, I think. Some additional work has been done and may be ongoing at the two houses on the Ballantine side. Does that extend the spoil pile removal deadline into the future some time. Five years seems too long. Thanks.

Good morning. Planning and Transportation staff will take a look at this stock pile. Stock piles must be stabilized within 7 days of remaining inactive. Staff is not sure that anything within the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) prohibits the stock pile from remaining, as long as it is stabilized.

The dirt piles are actually on the vacant lot next door to the structure. The address of the lot is 1203 E 2nd St. Is this something that should have been removed upon completion of construction of the house at 1217 E 2nd St? If so, does Planning and Transportation or Engineering have ability to address this issue?
