I emailed Ms Arborgast and told here that the city does not have anyone who can eradicate the Japanese Knot Weed at this time, and that we will work on changing that in the future.
Other: Ginormous patch of invasive knotweed growing on roadside on S Patterson between Allen and Second Street. It's even growing between the road and the bridge. Knotweed is a curse, much much worse than wintercreeper, multi-flora rose, garlic mustard, or bradford pear. Next thing, it'll be all over the banks of our creeks, lakes, and wetlands and we won't be able to do a damned thing about it. And breaking the roadway and bridge.

Hello Ms. Arborgast. I'm afraid the city does not have anyone to eliminate the knot weed at this time. We will work on making a policy for invasive species that are in the city's right-of-way.
