Other: The city bus routinely drives through the Fritz Terrace neighborhood too fast. I don’t have a radar gun but the speed limit is 20 and they are obviously going over. On Saturday 5/21 sometime around 3:00 I believe the bus hit and killed a neighbor’s dog near 3131 Valleyview and continued their route. I did not witness the event but was told by a neighbor the bus stopped for a moment at the same location the dog was hit, near the same time, then continued on. I would like the transit department to identify who the driver was and see what the story is on why they did not stop and try to help or identify the owner of the dog, or if I am mistaken and the driver claims it was not them and perhaps maybe they witnessed the event and could provide more details. Even without the issue of who hit the dog, the bus needs to slow down and not exceed the 20 MPH speed limit. There are lots of kids in this neighborhood, the streets are narrow and the curve at the top of the hill is a blind spot for oncoming traffic. Please address this issue before someone gets hurt or killed.
