City of Bloomington, Indiana

closed: Resolved #180260

City Performance:

Other: The city owns land near tri north at the round about and fails to keep the grass maintained. However the city also fines land owners for doing so. It shouldn't be ironic land owners and contractors get fined and the city are able. Please make it right by clearing the high grass and understanding a relationship of notice and engaging is a better solution. Just like residences are giving the city a warning. Thank you for taking your time to read.

Thank you for your message. Since the rebuilt Tri-North has been completed, some of the mowing responsibilities were missed. City Public Works, City of Bloomington Utilities and MCCSC coordinated mowing responsibilities earlier this week and have a plan in place for mowing going forward. The recent rain pushed this back a few days, but it should be done soon. There are a few areas that are naturalized on the slopes, but tree plots and all other turf grass areas will be maintained.
