At this time, the City does not plan to install bollards at this location. The instances of people mistakenly driving in the bicycle lane seem to be rare. If you are aware of this happening more frequently, we would be interested in hearing more. Bollards are occasionally missed by (and therefore cause harm to) bicyclists and create challenges for maintenance. Generally, when someone driving accidentally drives in this space, they tend to realize it is a mistake, and drive cautiously. If there are other instances, we would be interested to hear more.
