The taste and odor event has passed.
Other: Systemic issue with water smell Sept and Oct (it's second year now). Is the city addressing it long term? Clearly, the measures last year didn't yield a result. Thank you!

Oleksandr, Currently we are using Powdered Activated Carbon (PAC), sodium permanganate, and copper sulfate to alleviate the taste and odor issues. We are also looking at long term projects including ozonation as a fourth method to add to the three we currently have. We plan to have our filtration system refurbished within the next year. We are constantly researching new treatment technologies for this issue. I apologize for the taste and odor issues, unfortunately they are a common issue with communities using surface water as the water source. Please feel free to reach out with additional questions or concerns.
