Other: This unnecessary, gas station-style light seems far too tall and way too bright for this context of a residential neighborhood. It shines brightly into my second-story bedroom window (see photo) and wakes me during the night. No one living on this intersection wants it here. Bright outdoor light in the summer also disrupts firefly mating, causing their population to decline. Please remove it—or replace with a much shorter, *much dimmer*, insect-friendly, amber-lit lamp post, ideally also befitting a historic neighborhood. Thank you.
A new street light will be installed and the resident was notified.
Existing roadway street light will be replaced with a new pedestrian LED traditional fixture and pole this year. I have notified the resident about the switch out.
