I am sorry to hear that people are regularly speeding in this location. Our primary two available city tools are enforcement or street design changes (traffic calming). Enforcement: If you witness speeding often in this location, I recommend calling the Police and asking that they enforce speeding the area. Traffic calming: If you are interested in traffic calming, please contact the Bicycle and Pedestrian Coordinator, Hank Duncan, at 812.349.3423. There is an annual traffic calming program, which residents are invited to apply to. Recently, some speed cushions were install on a section of Morton Street near Allen Street.
