Walking all floors of the building with the Maintenance manager we found over 30 missing or damaged exit signs. Prevention pointed out to the ones that need repaired today and the others he said would be repaired before the end of the week. Alarm had 6 troubles. The alarm company already has been out to look at these issues and has parts ordered. System still fully functional at this time. Maintenance will repair the light on the 5th floor with exposed wires today. Note live wires were inside the J box exposed wires were from the light not being hooked up. so not live. After walking the building Prevention met with the Assistant property manager and Maintenance manager and explained to them that they must try to do a better job with keeping up with the exit sign issue that they have, this is an ongoing issue according to them. They will try to do daily checks between maintenance and other staff in order to keep up with it. Prevention Division will follow up with a re-inspection within 30 days as outlined by State Code. This will allow enough time for repairs to be made.
