Other: Smartphone use while driving is a huge problem in Bloomington. Almost every time I get on the road as a driver or cyclist, I see people staring at their phones while driving. Why aren't cops patroling the streets for this? It's a huge contributor to traffic accidents, and it makes me scared to ride my bike. People do it while they're stopped at stoplights or even stop signs, which is dangerous enough, but I see it all the time while people are driving! The tell-tale signs are swerving, driving very slowly, and obviously seeing someone's head pointed down toward their lap. The police should be focused on eradicating this habit before an innocent pedestrian or someone else dies.
