Other: Street light on the NW corner of Woodlawn & Hunter is out. There are no other street lights on Woodlawn between Atwater & 2nd St even thought its sidewalks are heavily used by women leaving the campus in the dark to walk to the free parking lot east of Bryan Park. The dark sidewalk on the west side seems especially unsafe in the dark due to the large shrubbery that grows next to that sidewalk at several locations.

Mr. Matson, Thank you for contacting the Department of Public Works regarding the installation of street lights along S Woodlawn Ave between Atwater and 2nd St. Unfortunately, I cannot install any lights along this stretch of Woodlawn because there is not sufficient public right of way. The City's right of way ends at the back edge of the sidewalk. As a result of this, there are street lights installed on wooden utility poles at the intersections. Please feel to contact me at smithc@bloomington.in.gov. Thanks, Christina
You may want to add the suggestion of more lighting to your list.
