Other: The stop sign at Allendale & Bainbridge is constantly driven thru without cars stopping. It’s frightening when we have so many kids in the neighborhood, & it is a school bus stop. With school starting again, it’s a concern. I’ve seen numerous cars just whip around a school bus there without hardly slowing down. I also think it would be really helpful to have speed bumps on Eeliston Dr., on the way to the park. We have so many pedestrians on the street, and no sidewalk.

Maryjane, Thank you reaching out about these concerns. We appreciate your proactivity in helping create safer streets for all road users in Bloomington. In terms of speed humps and traffic calming furniture to create a better environment for vulnerable street users, I would direct you to the City's Resident-Led Traffic Calming and Greenways Program. Each spring, residents apply for funding towards traffic calming infrastructure such as speed humps and bump outs in their respective neighborhoods. I would be happy to chat more about this if you are interested. 1. TCGP Homepage: https://bloomington.in.gov/crm/tickets/view?ticket_id=184585 2.
