Wildlife Conflict:

Other: Aggressive deer charged at me and my dog on a walk two times in the past 24 hours. First encounter was last night (9/13) around 7:30p in the alleyway between University & 1st near to Woodlawn Ave. The second incident happened along S. Ballantine Rd between Maxwell Ln & Sheridan Dr. this morning (9/14) around 7:15a. Both instances involved does that did not have any fawns nearby and were unprovoked - my dog did not try to chase or attack as we both didn’t notice them initially. I had to throw nearby items that were on the ground, such as sticks & rocks, multiple times in order to get them to leave us alone. Extremely unnerving behavior especially for does without fawns and is a hazard to anyone in the neighborhood.
