BPD contacted regarding speeding, and I logged the resident's sidewalk request for future consideration.
Other: Is the city or county responsible for enforcing the speed limit that people travel on Kinser Pike between the stop sign at BHSN and the I-69 overpass? People routinely drive 40-60 MPH, especially on the straight sections even though the hills prevent them from seeing a pedestrian or bicyclist. The posted speed limit is 30 MPH. Can something not be done to slow them down? I am starting with this question to the city because the city clears the street so I thought the speed limit might be under city responsibility also. It is horribly dangerous to attempt walking on the road and there are no sidewalks between Acuff Rd and I-69. Can one of the units that tracks people's speed be set up to monitor and notify people that they are driving over the speed limit? One white sporty car drives so fast through the Bayles Rd T straight away that it is an unidentifiable white blur.

Vicky, Thank you for reaching out about a sidewalk along Kinser Pike. This corridor is already on our radar for future sidewalk projects, but I will also add your request when considering future sidewalk projects. Best, Hank Duncan

I have requested that officers extra patrol the area for traffic enforcement, but passing along to make you aware of the complainant's concerns regarding no sidewalks along the roadway.
