closed: Resolved #185882

Trash:

Other: Question: Does any of the solid waste generated in Bloomington go to landfills out of town / out of county? Also, are there are plans for a methane-to-natural gas plant like the one I read about in an HT article on October 4?

Currently we are in a contract with Republic and our solid waste goes to Terre Haute. In the very near future, we will be accepting bids for a new 3-year contract and we are looking at these types of facilities for our solid waste.
