Other: The dwelling unit at 608 S Park Ave is managed by Elkins Apartments. The apartment is located above a storage garage that Elkins, in the past few years, renovated and began using for their maintenance storage and operations. The building itself is only on one electrical circuit, meaning the resident of the upstairs apartment is also paying for the electrical use of the maintenance operations below. I don’t have a great understanding of zoning laws, but I wanted to report this in case it was some kind of violation because it doesn’t seem right.

Catherine, The City's HAND department has jurisdiction over the maintenance and safety of the residential rental units in Bloomington. Any agreement or disagreement between you and the landlord is outside of that jurisdiction, and is considered a civil issue between the two parties.
