Other: coyotes rage through Crestmont Park and surrounding properties nightly. Some neighbors report seeing individual coyotes in their yards. One neighbor reports seeing a coyote jump a fence on W 16th and killed a cat. Feral cats have been eaten. Last night I heard what sounded like coyote vs fox killing. One neighbor claims that the coyotes live in a hole they dug by a ditch on W. 16th west of Lindbergh. I sympathize with all the creatures who have been displaced by huge complexes in the area, But these guys have got to go. Sharon, Thank you for bringing this to our attention. While this sounds like it is normal coyote behavior, we do want to investigate the situation. Our Animal Control Officers can give you suggestions for living in harmony with the coyotes and methods to making the area less attractive for them.
