No metal plate was found in the area and has been removed. The area should have returned to normal volume levels. If the problem returns, please notify the Engineering Department (812) 349-3913.
Other: There is a large piece of metal at the intersection of 2nd and Rogers (presumably covering up a pothole or other road issue). However, it is in the line of traffic and creates an extremely loud noise every time a vehicle drives over it making it difficult for anyone living in the general vicinity to sleep. Perhaps a different methodology could be used until the necessary road repairs are completed?
Most tickets of this type should be closed within 7 days, although some cases may be longer. 11 days have already passed.

I checked this out and it does not belong to CBU.
James, Danny said he thought this could be from a utilities project. Please let me know if it's not so we can check it out!
Reopening to transfer to utilities.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will look into your concerns.
