Per City Code, collection will only occur for items placed in the carts with the lids completely closed. When solid waste or recycling volumes are high for a given week, additional pickups can be coordinated at bloomington.in.gov/sanitation. We will drop materials at this address informing them of our policies.
As for the paper item in the street, we strive to keep all materials in our trucks once collected, but at times items fall out and are not noticed.
