Website & Web Services Feedback:

Other: This commercial truck has been illegally parked at 3954 Fenbrook Ct Bloomington In since Sunday November19, 2023 in violation of the ordiance prohibiting RVs and commercial parking in resident neighborhoods. Several calls to Commercial Services asking them to not park their commercial vehichles in our neiborhood have been ignored. It needs to be noted that they have been doing this since May 2023. First with small compact cars and now their full blown comnercual trucks. Please enforce the ordiance and require this conpqny to stop violating the ordiance and not park their commercial vehicles in our neighborhood.

The Bloomington municipal code contains no prohibition against the parking of a commercial vehicle in a private driveway. Resident has been advised that a neighborhood covenant may govern this practice, but that covenants are private agreements between neighbors that are not enforced by the City.

The Bloomington Municipal Code does not prohibit the parking of commercial vehicles in a private driveway. Your neighborhood may have a covenant prohibiting this, but covenants are private agreements among neighbors and are not enforceable by the City.

Shannon - I'm double checking, but the portion of City Code that you are referring to, only applies to City owned streets, and not private driveways. I do not believe any violation is occurring here.
